Not all the things that you can see is true. Sometimes, you also need some leap of faith to see through it. :)

How Did My Christmas Vacation Go?

These days, I've been busy as hell. I was not able to upload some photos of our family vacation last Christmas. My December vacation had been awesome and it helped me to relax and get away from stress that school brought me. My Family is the best group of persons I can rely with (aside from my friends of course), my dad, my mom, and my older brother. I find happiness when I'm with them. They give me hope when I feel down. The support, love, and care are all unconditional.

Here are some photos of our road trip last December. :)

These are some photos taken in the Parish Church of Pugo, La union. This is not our hometown, it was just that we went to take a look at Pugad in Pugo then my mom said that my won't we go and see also their church. By the way, I saw Joseph and Bianca in Pugad with their families. HAHA. :))

These photos are taken in Thunderbird Resort in San Fernando, La Union. Notice that my mom and mu older brother are not here. It is because me and my dad are already finished eating so we went for a walk and took some pictures without them. HAHA. :))

And the last set of photos are taken in San Juan, La Union. We went there to eat and swim. As you can see the waves are kinda big, haha. :)) By the way, the anonymous guy looks like Woo Bin in Boys Over Flowers. HAHA. :))

To keep it simple, my vacation went spectacular and I enjoyed a lot. :))

Is There Something About Strawberries That You Still Don't Know?

Well, most of us are all familiar with strawberries. It is the most common fruit in Baguio and La Trinidad. But I've known some facts that some of you still don't know. Check it out!

  • A Strawberry has an average of 200 seeds!

  • Strawberry is a member of rose family.

  • It prevents muscle fatigue and makes exercise easier.

  • In France, Strawberries were thought to be an aphrodisiac.

  • There is a museum in Belgium just for strawberries.

  • It is the only fruit with its seeds outside.

  • Strawberries are the first fruit to ripen in spring.

  • Madame Tallien, a prominent figure at the court of Emperor Napoleon, was famous for bathing in the juice of fresh strawberries. She used 22 pounds per basin. Needless to say, she did not bathe daily.

  • Folk lore states that if you split a double strawberry in half and share it with the opposite sex, you’ll soon fall in love.

Want To Know How To Get His Heart?

Consider me as an expert about this topic. Here are my simple steps on how to capture his eyes, ears, hands, and of course, his heart.

1. First, be who you are. Show your true personality, the righteous and complete you.

2. Never be aggressive. Start your relationship with him with friendship It is always good to start a relationship with being friends.

3. Make sure he is indeed comfortable talking and being with you.

4. Be sensitive and attentive!

5. Be there for him in times of his sadness. Be a good cheerer!

6. Appreciate all his deeds.

7. Be confident with yourself. A guy would prefer a girl who can carry everything she does.

8. And lastly, know how to take care of yourself. A guy wants a girl who knows how to love herself.

Do Not Be Afraid

Let me give you a saying that I really love;
“The sentence ‘Do not be afraid’ appears 365 time in the Bible: enough assurance from the LORD that everyday of the year we can out put our trust I Him.”

What Are Your Fears Keeping You From Doing?

This is a blog of John Maxwell that I’ve read just early this evening. As I was reading, I can fully relate myself for I, even though some people don’t see that I fear some things in life, fear too. He stated some actions that are probably effective to weaken our hidden fears.

The first action that he mentioned is to know where our fears come from. On his blog he said that our fears come from our anticipation of evil. We worry about the things that will happen in our future. We fear how our life will be if evil broke abruptly. As for me, I think that my fears also come from my anticipation of my future, how will it be if something bad might happen.

His second action is to admit our fears. It is not wrong to reveal our fears for it is normal. He also said that our courage is our resistance to fear, a mastery of it and not the absence of it. Once we confess our worrisome fears, we overcome the facts that make us bother.

The third action he stated is to accept the brevity and frailty of life. We have to agree with what life says to us, that it is not always sunny. There will also be rainy days; we are going to be on our knees with the hardship the life brings us. But this doesn’t mean we’re going to give up with life, the situation builds us stronger to face another circumstance that lie ahead.

The fourth action is to accept the fear as a price of progress. In any fields of our life, we cannot achieve success without getting frightened and taking risks. Risks help us trust life, others, and of course, our self. When we take risks and we failed, we should always try anew and this time make things right. Success that is achieved without extra effort makes us feel a little not satisfied. It only means that effort brings us happiness when we reach the top.

His fifth action is to develop a burning desire to overcome fear. Once we set our goals in life, we do everything for this and try to focus only with it. We put out minds with the aspiration of winning or accomplish it. We eventually forget that we have already overcame the fears that we once worried about.

The sixth action which I recognize as a very true statement is to focus on what you can control. We cannot deny the fact that we are all going to die, we are all getting old, and we are all having our own families. These facts are all consistent and we cannot avoid it to happen. We have to fix to our minds to the thought that we have to control only the things that we can manage.

The seventh action is to focus on today, not yesterday, not tomorrow. The things we have done in the past cannot be modified already, simultaneously, we cannot control what could happen in the mere future. Today is given by God for His people to be good to ourselves and to our fellow humans. It is given to us to have a chance to correct what mistake we might have done in our yesterday. Never fear about yesterday for it had already happened, so as with future for it has not yet come.

His eighth action is to put some wins under your belt. We must know that fears come one by one in our life. The more we face fears, the more we feel that we are capable of handling it. In that way we are more willing to face them.

And last but not the least is to do it now, not tomorrow, not next week, but NOW. There is no other perfect time to start something than doing it now. The more we set aside fear, the more we give concern about it. Just go with the flow, have a thinking of what they say, ‘come what may’.

Top Ten Most Anticipated Movies This 2011!

2011 is in! 2010 is out! And movies are definitely awaited this year! You might wanna check out on the top ten list I have for you, a list that will give grandeur to 2011!

1. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn
*Let me tell you a secret I have for this Tintin series. When I was in elementary, more likely when I was in grade 3, I had a secret crush with my friend and fellow honor student, Elmar, and when it is our break time we used to go to the library to read Tintin's series. From then on Tintin books are now my favorite! By the way, he was a valedictorian then, and I was his salutatorian.. :)

2. Captain America
Chris Evans steps into seriously legendary territory as he takes on the story of America's Hitler-clobbering super-soldier. The director of this movie is Joe Johnson.

3. Cowboys & Aliens

Jon Favreau takes on this plainly mad graphic novel of Scott Mitchell Rosenberg that has a blast living up to its awesome title.

4. The Green Hornet

Michel Gondry's the director, so.... It's JOY!
With a drastically slimmed-down Seth Rogen in the lead with Jay Chou as Kato and Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds as the main baddie.

5. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2

The end begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione go back to Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemorts final horcruxes, but when Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.

6. Hugo Cabret

Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. The director is Martin Scorsese and the cast includes Sacha Baron Cohen, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Lee and Jude Law.

7. The Muppets

Kermit the Frog and his muppet pals put on a show to save their old theater. It is directed by James Bobin and the cast includes Amy Adams, Jason Segel, and Emily Blunt.

8. Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Johnny Depp continues to rule the stormy seas, and this time his irresistibly flamboyant alter-ego is paired with the most beautiful woman in the world. Penelope Cruz stars as the daughter of the infamous Blackbeard, and apparently crosses more than swords with Sparrow.

9. Rise Of The Apes
The film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. The movie will be released on June 24, 2011!!

10. Thor

The powerful but arrogant warrior Thor is cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard and sent to live amongst humans on Earth, where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders. Its fine director is Kenneth Branagh and its stars include Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, and Natalie Portman!

As 2011 comes to its way, better watch these movies with your family and friends! But of course, you'll have a.... BLADDER CONTROL! Hahaha. :))
